It is the quiet season here, but also the time of year for engagements, and engagement shoots! I was so happy to hear that Sarah and Travis would be visiting Maine for the holidays, since they live down south, and I hate to miss the opportunity for an engagement session.
Thanks to Maine’s typically unpredictable winter weather, we had to squeeze their shoot in just a day before Christmas eve. In the end though, it was a perfect morning to explore Kennebunkport; super quiet and the passing storm left bluebird skies. We even had a Patrick Dempsey sighting, but we weren’t able to get him in a shot!
Their ‘North meets South’ wedding will be taking place in Kennebunkport next spring, so we stopped by the church where they’ll say their vows for some photos before heading down to the Cape Porpoise for a few last shots. It was quite a bit chillier right on the water, but these two didn’t seem to mind. Such a sweet and easy-going couple I’m sure that their wedding day will be loads of fun.
If you were engaged over the holidays I’d love to hear from you, I still have some prime Saturdays open for 2017.
Thanks again Sarah and Travis, see you when its a bit warmer!
