Sarah and Jeremy’s wedding may have been my largest in terms of the number of invited guests this year, but it still felt intimate due to the bucolic surroundings of Shanhassick Farm. The farm is such a peaceful and welcoming environment that I could have stayed for the week! Plus, being in one location all day allowed for the day to flow naturally and without stress.
We were also graced with another lovely day weather-wise, although it was hot and sticky, the rain held off until well into the reception, and the light was just magical. Thank goodness too, since Sarah and Jeremy had opted for an outdoor ceremony, it would have been a shame if we would have had to move it under the tent. Outdoor weddings in New England require a ‘Plan B’, but it’s always nice when you don’t have to use it!
Speaking of the ceremony, some people may recognize their officiant, it’s Melanie from Blissful Beginnings Wedding and Event Design! Not only is she a top-notch wedding planner, but she’s a justice of the peace too! Very convenient.
I hope you’re having fun out on the Cape Sarah and Jeremy, thanks for sharing your day with me and Judy!
