If you live in Maine you know that this winter has been quite trying. Lots of snow, big storms, and just when we thought spring was coming, boom! another storm was bearing down on us. Sara and Josh were only going to be in Maine for a few days to wrap up their wedding details, so we really needed to get their engagement shoot in. Mother Nature was kind enough to give us a tiny window on Fridaay in which to get it done, and I’m so glad we did! Just after their shoot was done the snow started to fall and didn’t let up for a full 24 hours, in our area we got at least a foot. Spring please show your face, mercy!
These two were a dream to photograph though, so fun and in love. We shot in Brunswick, which was a new shooting location for me, so we spent almost two hours wandering around looking for fun locations and backdrops. I’ve always loved this town, so it was fun to explore it a bit more. It was chilly, but we made the best of it for sure. Their wedding is going to be at Harborview at Jones Landing on Peaks Island this coming August, I can assure you it will be much, much warmer!
