Nikki and Casey are two of the most genuine, down-to-earth people I’ve had the chance to work with. So fun, and easy going I know that their wedding in October on Nikki’s father’s farm is going to be spectacular. Nikki is an artist, who teaches at Maine College of Art, so I’m sure it will also be visually stunning.
They chose the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge in Wells, Maine for their engagement shoot because it is a place they’ve enjoyed exploring as a couple, in both summer and winter. Rachel Carson is pretty much right next to Laudholm Farm, so we popped over there at the end of our little hike to grab a few more photos. I left with about 20 bug bites, but also with a smile on my face after the opportunity to get to know these two better before their wedding this fall.
See you two again soon when the leaves are turning, and hopefully the misquotes have died off!
