It was another beautiful weekend for a New England wedding. Hot, but beautiful! Caitlin and Justin were wed overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the grounds of the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, New Hampshire. Theirs was one of the most unique ceremonies I have ever witnessed thanks to the fighter plane fly-over courtesy of the nearby airshow! Money couldn’t buy a more impressive way to end your vows!
The perfect day was artfully coordinated by Melanie, owner of Blissful Beginnings Wedding and Event Design. And while she can’t take credit for the fly-over, she can take credit for most everything else. The reception tent was dotted with bright pinks and oranges, and once the sun set it glowed warmly in the field while the music floated over the water. Guests truly got down on the dance floor thanks to Get Down Tonight Entertainment. I have a feeling that it was one of those receptions that would have gone on into the wee hours of the morning if that had been possible.
That gorgeous cake you see was made by Owen Dyer of ConfectionArt, he made the cake for my own wedding ten years ago, so clearly these two have good taste! Not only are Owen’s cakes visually stunning, but they’re incredibly delicious too.
Congratulations Caitlin and Justin I hope you have a fun and relaxing honeymoon in Hawaii!
