As a wedding photographer I get the opportunity to see and experience a wide variety of wedding reception venues, some are naturally better than others to work at, and Pineland Farms is just about the best! To top it off it is the only venue where I will be photographing at twice this season, and it just so happens that it is for the last two weddings of the year. I love ending on a high note.
Not only are the staff at Pineland Farms top notch, but the grounds are impeccable. Where else can you find rolling green hills dotted with horses and sheep, an exquisite garden, perfect white fences, a gazebo, big red barns, a pond, and sweeping views of the autumn foliage from just about every window? When I first met with Angie and Adam and they told me their chosen location, I told them that they had scored, and they knew it! Pineland Farms is especially nice in the fall, since the property is ringed with trees, and they were in full autumn color last weekend.
Angie and Adam’s wedding took full advantage of everything that Pineland Farms has to offer. We had a lot of fun taking the trolley around the grounds for the bridal party photos, and I really enjoyed shooting their wedding portrait in the garden. Angie and Adam have been together for a long time, and they’re so comfortable with each other they’re very easy to photograph.
Angie’s flowers were by Flour! in Wells, and the subtle orange and white bouquets looked great with the navy blue bridesmaid’s dresses, and were perfect for fall. The colors really popped without being overdone. All in all it was a beautiful day for a wedding, and I had a great time being a part of it. Congrats Angie and Adam!
