If you follow my work, and this blog, you may have noticed a few things, first September has been very busy! Second, we’ve had an amazing summer! Great couples, lovely locations and near-perfect weather. The drought hasn’t been great for farmers and lawns, but it has meant lovely weather for almost all of my weddings. Amanda and Sean’s wedding was no exception, simply perfect all day long. Just look at the sky in the first photo, and the sunset we had later on. Someone was shining down on them, it was a perfect day.
We started off the morning at Amanda’s parent’s beautiful lakeside home, and from there we headed to Kennebunk for their ceremony at St. Martha’s Catholic Church. Their priest, Father Fred Morse was positively hilarious; his dry wit sprinkled throughout the ceremony brought many laughs to the congregation. Not what I normally think of for a Catholic ceremony, and a pleasant surprise. Post ceremony, guests headed to cocktail hour back at The Landing at Pine Point, while I took the bridal party to Pine Point beach for photos. Pretty soon after Amanda and Sean made their grand entrance and the party was in full-swing.
These two are such sweethearts. Sean may look like a big tough guy, but he’s as sweet, warm, and loving as can be. Such a lucky couple! Congrats Amanda and Sean, cheers to many wonderful years ahead!
