Whitney and Kelly’s Margate Resort, Laconia, New Hampshire wedding and reception

On the shores of beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, Whitney and Kelly tied the knot at The Margate Resort in Laconia, New Hampshire this past Saturday. They were surrounded by the most lovely group of family and friends that I’ve ever met; kind people who also happened to be the most wild and amazing dancers! This wedding was a party from beginning to end. A true celebration that at one moment was filled with joy, and then had me tearing up behind my camera. It was everything a wedding should be.

Kelly and Whitney have an amazing love story, theirs was the truly rare ‘love at first sight’, and it is clear within minutes of meeting them that they are meant to be together. Kelly may be 6’7″ tall, but he exudes a gentle calm,  yet at the same time is very fun-loving. Just seeing him with their two teeny tiny Yorkshire terriers tells you all you need to know, he’ll do pretty much anything for Whitney and their little family.

Did I mention dancing? Dancing is how Kelly’s family celebrates, and it was very evident on Saturday night. Joyful is the only word I can come up with to describe how their dancing (which started before noon) made everyone feel. Reckless abandon and celebration was the rule for this wedding, and I honestly left with a sore face from smiling and laughing for so long.

Thanks so much Kelly and Whitney, I hope you dance together for another hundred years!
