About Alexandra Daley-Clark

Alexandra C. Daley-Clark is a wedding, portrait, and editorial photographer based in southern Maine.

She has worked for Newsweek magazine, and Saba photo agency in New York City. In 2001 she left the big city, and set-off to hike and photograph the entire length of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. 2,160 miles, approximately five million steps, 1500 photographs, and six-and-a-half months later, she completed the long walk and settled in Maine.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.

Among her many clients are: The New York Times, Newsweek Magazine, National Geographic Adventure, Lindblad Expeditions, Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel, Backpacker Magazine, The National Park Service, IDEXX labs, and The Pine Tree Society. In addition, her images have been featured on several book covers.

Most recently she served as the Director of Photography for the Do1Thing project, in addition to being a contract photographer for the America 24/7 project.

The One & Only Wedding Package :

Newly engaged? Are you looking for a professional photographer who works in an unobtrusive photojournalistic style, yet takes all the important shots? Are you looking to have full control over your images and reprints? Like what you see online? If you want to see more I’d be happy to send you a  DVD portfolio.
My digital wedding photography packages include:

  • A full day of shooting (max 12 hours) with a professional assistant, who also second-shoots.
  • A free engagement session, with a paid wedding deposit. (The shoot must occur within 25 miles of Portland, Maine).
  • A private and secure online gallery for your family and friends to view and order from. For example galleries see: my Smugmug site.
  • All images full-resolution on DVD (600+), and a beautiful KOLO proof album with 200 4×6 inch prints, all personally color corrected and optimized.
  • Virtually unlimited printing rights (they’re your pictures, right?).
  • No extra travel costs within 100 miles of Portland, Maine. (Beyond a two  hour radius, accommodation arrangements may be requested.)

I shoot no more than 15 weddings a year, you get a fun, yet professional photographer who loves to be a part of your special day! No kidding!

I would never book more than one wedding for a weekend!

New for 2010: I will be offering Flush Mount albums designed by a professional graphic designer.  They will be completely optional, and you’ll still get your full-resolution files on disc!

Portrait sessions start at $150.

  • All portrait sessions include a password protected online gallery, and travel within 25 miles of Portland, Maine.

Headshot sessions for actors and models: $200.

  • Headshot sessions include five retouched images on disc ready for printing in both color and black & white.
