Maggie and Matt’s Three Chimney’s Inn wedding

I was so looking forward to Maggie and Matt’s wedding day at the Three Chimney’s Inn in Durham,  New Hampshire. Maggie is one of those brides with impeccable taste and a unparalleled attention to detail, so I knew that it was going to be a joy to photograph. Plus, after getting to know them at their engagement session, I knew that they are fun, adorable and up for pretty much anything.

I’ve been lucky to be able to say that of all of the weddings I’ve shot this year, none have been rained on, and it was one of the wettest summers on record! Early in the day, it looked like my lucky streak was about to end. We took a cute little trolley into Portsmouth for wedding party photos and it was pouring, but the skies eventually cleared and were were able to take some great shots at the Wentworth By The Sea, and we had perfect light and no raindrops for the wedding itself! All in all it was such a lovely day, Maggie and Matt’s guests boogied to the tunes of Matty B., a versatile and talented wedding entertainer, and the day went so smoothly thanks to the very professional ladies of The Wedding Belle.

Maggie and Matt, thanks for helping me end the wedding season on such a high note! I wish you two all the best, you deserve it!
