Kara and Dan’s Bald Peak Colony Club, New Hampshire wedding

Autumn is here, and it is the craziest time of year for photographers in New England. I have been busy, busy, busy with shoots and trying to crank out blog posts and sneak peeks as fast as I can! I’m very excited to finally be able to share Kara and Dan’s wedding with you today!

Before summer officially ended I had the pleasure of photographing Kara and Dan’s drop-dead gorgeous wedding at New Hampshire’s chic Bald Peak Colony Club. I’d never shot a wedding here before, and it is truly a hidden gem. The grounds are impeccable, the views of Lake Winnepausakee are stunning, and the staff so professional. It also helps that Kara and Dan are awesome, and their friends and family equally so.

Despite being mid-September it was swelteringly hot, but no one was complaining, they were just having a fun, yet relaxing time. These two had planned a very comfortable schedule and left plenty of time for photos, which is really appreciated. Their ceremony was held a short trolley-ride away in Meredith at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, then we headed back to Bald Peak for some downtime and family photos before the big reception kicked off at 5:30pm. The Silver Arrow band quickly let everyone know that the party was started, and the tent was still thumping when I pulled away late into the night. Congrats Kara and Dan, it was a heck of a party!
