The last of my three weekend engagement shoots was for Julia and Matt, and they are my first wedding of the year, and I am so looking forward to that day. Their wedding is really going to reflect who they are, and they are a really fun couple! They’ve been hand-making many of the decorations and detail pieces that will be around their reception site. Handmade driftwood signs will direct guests where to go, lawn games will abound, and lobster rolls will be served picnic-style in handmade boxes on blankets by the ocean. It is going to really be a classic Maine wedding, which of course I love! Oh and, they’ve managed to even incorporate an ice cream truck into their reception, so it only made sense to stop for ice cream at Garside’s Ice Cream to end the shoot. Only a few weeks to go and the wedding season is sure to be off to a great start!
