Last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting the Satter/McGann wedding for The New York Times Vows column. I’ve shot lots of stories for The Times over the years, including another wedding back in 2006. I enjoy these assignments a lot, they require a different approach than my usual wedding shoots. It’s funny how a wedding can be both a news event and a wedding at the same time, and it’s a challenge to shoot it with that in mind. That said, it’s always fun nonetheless!
