Devon and Will’s Portland and Scarborough, Maine wedding

We lucked out with the weather Saturday, it was another beautiful day to have a wedding, and this one was perfect! I shared the day celebrating with a sweet couple; Devon and Will, and their large and fun-loving group of friends and family. This is a group that knows how to have a good time!

Their ceremony was held at Wilde Memorial Chapel at Evergreen Cemetery, an intimate, peaceful space that I’d never even known about before this wedding. Post-ceremony we braved the crazy Old Port traffic to make a quick stop to affix a lock on the Love Locks bridge, and then headed down to The Black Tie Company‘s Landing at Pine Point in Scarborough, Maine. Yes, this is where I was last weekend, but the space had a new look and completely different feel than before.  Once big reason was that Will and Devon had hired the rockin’ Bob Charest Band. The big band filled the large stage with equipment and instruments, and electrified the space with amazing vocals and musical talent. This is one of Maine’s best party bands and the guests that night were treated to quite a spectacular show! One way to guarantee that your wedding will be unforgettable is to hire a band like Bob Charest, a band will get everyone on their feet dancing, and it is so much fun to watch!
