Ashley and Ross’s (and Colby too!) engagements in Portland’s Old Port

Ashley and Ross are one of my only ‘local’ couples for this coming wedding season, and since we’re both familiar with what this part of Maine has to offer, we have come up with lots of fun ideas for their photos next year. One of my favorite ideas includes a plan to get some pictures on the Ferris Wheel at Palace Playland on Old Orchard Beach. When Ashley and I first met, she asked me if I’d be up for that, and I practically jumped out of my chair! I’ve always wanted to shoot wedding photos at an amusement park, and Ashley and Ross will be perfect subjects; they’re fun, open, and up for pretty much anything, I learned this at their engagement shoot in Portland last weekend. Oh, and I forgot to mention they’re going to have the cutest little ring bearer ever, their 2 year old son Colby! Isn’t he a doll? He’s also reportedly known to tear up the dance floor at weddings! I can’t wait!
